Most seniors aren’t waking up excited to stand in a field and “act natural” in front of a stranger with a camera.
And honestly? I get it.
Senior year is a lot. There’s pressure to figure out the future, stay on top of school, and somehow look effortlessly cool in your photos… while probably feeling a little unsure of what’s next.
That’s why I approach senior sessions a little differently. Whether your teen is camera-shy, full of personality, or somewhere in between, I’m here to create a space where they feel comfortable, confident, and fully seen.
Here’s how we go from “What do I do with my hands!?” to “That photo looks like me.”
Before I even pick up my camera, I get to know who they are—what they love, what lights them up, what kind of energy they want in their photos. This isn’t about forcing someone to smile; it’s about creating space for them to show up as themselves.
And guess what? When they feel seen, they stop performing. That’s where the magic happens.

There’s no “say cheese” here. I use prompts, movement, and conversation to create genuine reactions—laughs, smirks, quiet moments. I’ll guide them with simple direction (no awkward modeling required) and let their natural personality shine through.
Because the best senior photos? They feel like you.
Skater downtown? Let’s hit the streets. Nature lover? We’ll find golden light in a field or forest. Not sure yet? I’ll help them narrow it down with a location guide so they can feel confident and comfortable wherever we shoot.
The goal: photos that look like their real life, not someone else’s Pinterest board.

I’m part photographer, part hype woman. I’ll tell them when they look amazing, encourage them when they’re nervous, and celebrate every little moment of self-expression.
Because confidence isn’t something you “have” before the session—it’s something we build together during it.
Being a senior is about stepping into who you are—and I want their photos to reflect that.
When we focus less on perfection and more on connection, we capture something real. Something powerful. Something they’ll look back on and say, “That’s who I was becoming.”
Ready to book your Atlanta senior session? Let’s make it awesome.
